Board and Train Programs

Foundations - 3 Week Board and Train Program $1300

Is a great first step to training. Offers common commands such as Sit, Down, Stand, as well as coming when called and the foundation for Stay. Door rules and Anti-Jumping. Fundamentals for self soothing and 'stay on your bed' command.

Basics- 4 Week Board and Train Program $1700

Building on what your dog learned in Foundations, Basics builds on the Stay command, more advanced recalls, handling, polite greetings and rudimentary loose leash walking as well as a strong 'stay on your bed' command.

Intermediate- 5 Week Board and Train Program $2100

Works on loose leash walking, heeling, and attention games.. Leave It and Give are learned in Intermediate as well as fetch skills and 'out and about' skills.

Advanced- 6 Week Board and Train Program $2500

Tricks such as Weave, Take It, and Take a Bow are offered in Advanced. Your dog will practice all the skills necessary to pass his or her Canine Good Citizens test and will also work on advanced heeling as well as off leash skills.Additionally Out and About Skills where your dog is regularly taken by the trainer to real world locations such as coffee shops, brunches,and pet stores to put all his/her training into effect.

Go Home Videos-

All Board and Train programs come with several Training Sessions with Claire where owners get to come and learn what their dog has before Fido ever comes home. However for an additional $100 Claire will make a personal Go Home Video file, show casing Claire training your personal dog and explaining and showing how each command is practiced. Keep the file and review it at your leaisure to keep your training sharp!

All Board and Trains must go through an interview lesson before approval for the program can be given. This interview lesson is not included in the price of the board and train. All board and trains must be clients who have already committed to some training/lessons with Candid Canines before the actual board and train. We do not take dogs who are exclusively getting board and train, as we do not feel this is a dynamic that will make the owner/dog team successful.
